內房歌辭란 嶺南地方一帶에 걸쳐 兩班婦女子들이 그들의 生活을 그려낸 女流文學으로서 즉 封建主義家族制度下에서의 文學을 意味한다.
內房歌辭의 時代的背景은 儒敎를 國是로 한 朝鮮社會다. 朝鮮儒敎倫理의 三從七去는 朝鮮女性生活을 拘束하여 女性들의 生活을 지배했던 封建的觀念이었다.
朝鮮朝女性들이 社會的活動이 制限된 生活속에서 順從과 그들이 生命처럼 간수했던 貞節의 婦德만을 생활신조로 삼아 生活했던 환경에서 創作된 것이 內房歌辭다.
絶對的地位의 男性專制化에서 女性을 男性의 종속물로 만들었고 女性의 基本權 마저 剝奪하여 이로 인해 女性은 儒敎倫理의 엄격한 戒律과 貧困한 生活苦에 얽매인 呻今아래 그들의 嘆息은 自身의 運命을 설워하는 "恨"으로 얼룩져 있다. 朝鮮朝女性에게 숙명적으로 따르던 男尊女卑의 <位>論은 女性들에게 온갖 허울좋은 規範의 諸相으로 나타났고 女性들은 이러한 諸相을 체념적으로 받아들여 그녀들의 生活은 더없는 苦痛으로 한숨과 눈물과 反抗이 없을 수 없었다. 그러나 그녀들은 이러한 <位>와 <相>에서 脫出克服否定등을 志向하여 反抗精神을 涵養하였고, 다시 이를 止揚하여 마침내 身邊嘆息類의 歌辭를 創作했고 傳寫享有하는 境地까지 이를 昇華시켰던 것이다.
本稿에서는 上述한바에 對한 문제에 중점을 두고 內房歌辭의 名稱과 槪念, 時代的인 背景을 考察하고 內房歌辭에 投影된 朝鮮朝女人의 생활상을 社會的制度에서 오는 갈등과 家庭의 倫理, 經濟的인 貧困의 갈등으로 생기는 "嘆"의 樣相을 考察했다.
다만 이 內房歌辭의 自嘆類의 作品이 徹底한 反抗文學이 될 수 없었던 것은 때로는 强硬하기도 했지만 朝鮮朝女人들이 그들의 位相을 숙명적으로 받아들여 어느정도 肯定的으로 읊은 가냘픈 反抗文學이었다는 것이 玉에 티라고나 할 수 있겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Naebangkasa is a woman literature that the women of noble class in the Youngnam areas expressed their life and so it means the literature under the family system of feudalism.
The historical background of Naebangkasa is the society of Yi-Dynasty that has Confucianism, national policy. Three rules to keep and seven grounds for divorce of Confucian theories in Yi-Dynasty are the feudalistic ideas that restrict and rule out the life of the women in Yi-Dynasty. The women of Yi-Dynasty carry through with their life belief of obeidence and female virtues of chastity that they kept at the risk of their life under the conditions that they are restricted in their social activities and Naebangkasa was created under these conditions.
Absolutism of man that man has an absolute position made woman subordinate subject for man and deprived of the fundamental right of woman. So the lamentation of woman was filled with resentment that grieved at their fates under the strict rules of confucian ethics and poor life difficulties. The "Position"theory of predominance fo man over woman the women in Yi-Dynasty observed fatally suggested the various aspects fo only superficial rules for woman and they accepted these aspects fatally, and so they couldn't help sighing, tearing and resisting. However, they developed the spirit of insubordination by aiming the escape, overcome and refusal from this "position" and "aspect" and finally created the kasa of the style of personal lamentation and sublimate it to the stage of record and preservation up to date.
Therefore, this study investigates name, concept and historical background of Naebangkasa centering around the above mentioned statements and researched the life style of woman in Yi-Dynasty reflected in Naebangkasa from two aspects : one is the trouble from the social system and the other is the lamentation from the trouble fo family ethics and economic poverty.
The reason that the work of the style of grieving to oneself in Naebangkasa couldn't be a complete resistance literature was that the women in Yi-Dynasty were sometimes strong but finally they accepted their position fatally and so they created poor resistance literature expressed positively by themselves.
