1) "DO" (道), one of the Korean administrative districts, originated from the "Gu-Ju" (九州) system, imitating that of China. And it improved "Sip-Do"(十道) system, "O-Do-Yang-Ge"(五道兩界) system of Ko-Ryeo(高麗) and "Pal-Do"(八道) system and "Sip-Sam-Do"(十三道) system of Jo-Sun(朝鮮).
