이 논문은 광복 70주년, 재일조선인 시문학 연구를 정리하면서 새로운 연구의 방향과 과제를 제시하고자 한 것이다. 해방 이후 재일 조선인시문학의 정체성을 규정하는 가장 중요한 문제는 언어, 민족, 국가의 이데올로기였다. 하지만 이러한 문제틀은 재일 조선인 시문학의 개념 규정부터 범주 그리고 주제를 모두 아우르는 총체적인 지형을 형성해내지 못한 채, 일문학, 국문학 분야의 개별적 연구로 여러 가지 제약과 한계를 답습해왔다고 할 수 있다. 특히 남과 북, 민단과 총련, 한글과 일본어 등의 이원적 대립은 ‘재일’의 독자성과 특수성을 외면함으로써 대립과 갈등을 더욱 심화시켜 왔다. 지금 재일 조선인 시문학에 대한 이해는 남, 북, 민단, 총련의 이데올로기적 대립을 넘어서 ‘재일’ 그 자체의 문제라는 인식이 가장 중요하다. 국가주의 혹은 이데올로기적으로 규정된 왜곡된 주체의 시선이 아닌, 타자화된 또 다른 주체의 시선으로 ‘재일’의 문제를 새롭게 인식할 필요가 있는 것이다. 광복 70년, 재일조선인 시문학 연구의 방향과 과제는 바로 이러한 문제의식으로부터 다시 출발해야 할 것이다. 지금 재일 조선인 시문학은 민족적, 세대적 연속성이 무너졌다고 해도 과언이 아닐 정도로 노쇠한 양상을 보이고 있다. 또한 여러 측면에서 이질성과 다양성을 보이는 재일조선인 시문학의 변화와 남과 북의 이데올로기적 대립을 답습해온 재일조선인 사회의 극단적 이원화는 더욱 심화되고 있다. 이를 극복하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 그 경계의 지점에서‘틈(in-between-ness)’의 사유를 통해 생성되는 창조적 지점을 중요하게 인식할 필요가 있다. 따라서 앞으로 ‘재일’을 ‘일본에 산다’ 또는 ‘일본에 있다’와 같은 수동적 차원에서 바라볼 것이 아니라, ‘재일한다’라는 능동적이고 적극적인 행동의 차원에서 인식함으로써 재일조선인 사회를 주체적으로 재구성해야 한다. 재일조선인 시문학은 재일조선인이 살아온 지난 역사에 대한 증언과 기록의 차원을 넘어서 이제는 지금 재일조선인이 발 딛고 서 있는 지점에서부터 새로운 문제의식을 이끌어내야만 하는 것이다. 이러한 방향성은 과거의 역사와 현재의 경험을 동시에 아우르는 것이어야 할 뿐만 아니라, 미래로 나아가는 연속성의 측면도 함께 지녀야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study proposes the direction and tasks of Korean Japanese poetry studies on the 70th anniversary of Independence. The most important issues that define the identity of Koreans residing in Japan after the independence in poetry were language, ethnicity, and the ideology of the country. However, these issues made it impossible to form an overall landscape that covers all categories and themes of conceptual provisions of the Korean Japanese poetry literature, but followed a number of limitations and restrictions as individual study areas of literature. In particular, the dualistic opposition of the South and the North, the resident association and general association, and Hangul and Japanese, have deepened confrontation and conflict by ignoring the uniqueness and distinctiveness of `` Being Korean Japanese``. Now, it is most important to recognize that being Korean Japanese is the problem itself in understanding Korean Japanese poetry. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the Korean Japanese have lost their generational continuity. In addition, the extreme dualism of the Korean community has deepened in Korean Japanese society, which has followed the ideological confrontation between South and North Korea, and has experienced changes in Japanese poetry of heterogeneity and diversity. In order to overcome this problem, it is necessary to think of the ``in-between-ness`` at the point of the boundary. Therefore, it is necessary for ``Korean Japanese`` not to view themselves passively as ``living in Japan`` or ``being in Japan``, but to recognize their active action as ``residents in Japan``. This direction should not only encompass the history of the past and present experiences at the same time, but also possess aspects of continuity that moves forward to the future.
